    A view of the fantastic show of noctilucent clouds that occured over Europe in the evening of the 14th of July 2009. I saw that kind of clouds for the fist time one month ago in the North-East of France, but far more impressive. This time, I thought they were cirrus for a few seconds before I realized ... they covered at the maximum almost half of the sky !

    Great Noctilucent Clouds

    A view of the fantastic show of noctilucent clouds that occured over Europe in the evening of the 14th of July 2009.     Thank you Erruben. The photo was taken at 23h, more than an hour after the sunset. The other time I saw these clouds, they were visible until midnight !
