    Great Noctilucent Clouds A view of the fantastic show of noctilucent clouds that occured over Europe in the evening of the 14th of July 2009. I saw that kind of clouds for the fist time one month ago in the North-East of France, but far more impressive.     Great Noctilucent Clouds

    A view of the fantastic show of noctilucent clouds that occured over Europe in the evening of the 14th of July 2009. I saw that kind of clouds for the fist time one month ago in the North-East of France, but far more impressive. This time, I thought they were cirrus for a few seconds before I realized ... they covered at the maximum almost half of the sky !

    Thank you Erruben. The photo was taken at 23h, more than an hour after the sunset. The other time I saw these clouds, they were visible until midnight !
